In an article titled “6 Destination Races I’ve Turned Into Vacation — and 10 Still on my Bucket List“, Megan Lappe from SELF magazine lists the Farm to Fork Fondo series as an event to add to the bucket list.
“While I haven’t figured out which one I want to do, I just love this concept,” writes Lappe in the article. “With six different events, each featuring farm fresh food and dazzling views of the Northeast’s sprawling countryside, it’s hard to choose which event to ride.”
SELF Magazine isn’t the first to recognize the Farm to Fork Fondo Series as a ride worth traveling for. In April, Outside Magazine listed the Farm to Fork Fondo series as #5 on its list of best trips to take right now.
Participants will agree that the Farm to Fork Fondo series is worth the travel distance. In fact, many of this year’s traveled to the Northeast specifically to ride the Farm to Fork Fondo. This year alone, the series has seen participants from Japan, China, Morocco, and Israel. Participants have joined the ride for a wide variety of reasons. Whether it’s to check it off a bucket list, celebrate an anniversary, meet up with old friends, or just to enjoy a new ride in a new place.
