Andy Justason has been appointed as the New Brunswick representative on the Canadian Masters Athletics Board of Directors.
Andy began Masters Athletics in 2011 as part of an effort to start a track team at his daughters’ school. He took Run/Jump/Throw training from Athletics New Brunswick (ANB) and continued to his efforts with the Fredericton Legion Track Club (FLTC).
He serves on the FLTC and ANB boards of directors. Andy has always been interested in the decathlon and realized a childhood dream by completing his first decathlon in 2012. He has since become a regular at the Canadian Masters Athletics Championships, competing in the pentathlon. He holds several ANB age-group records in the combined events, sprints and jumps.
